- “Fuori Porta d’Azeglio” Country House is an early 20th century building, built on a pre-existing 19th century structure, located at the doorway to the small village of Azeglio coming from Albiano d’Ivrea. It is immersed in the natural environment of the “Serra Morenica” hill, overlooking the entrance of Aosta Valley. “Azeglio” is the name of the village where the house lays, in a green, peacefull, amazing landscape. “Fuori Porta” in Italian means “OutDoor”: about two hundred years ago, when the house was built, there were the medieval walls of the village. The western gate allowed access to the village, just a few steps from the building. At the beginning of the 20th century, the house was converted into a Villa, summer residence for a wealthy family. In 2018 the house has undergone a careful conservative renovation and the furnishing in the 5 guest rooms (each one with private bathroom) and in the common areas (the small library and the lounge area) are in keeping with local tradition.
Inside the structure there are also indoor and outdoor spaces to host public events (exhibitions, book presentations, musical performances, …) or private events (weddings, graduation parties, first communions, business meetings, …) in an elegant and reserved environment.
