Project Description

Among the gentle Canavese hills dotted with rows of vines facing the lake of Viverone stands Cella Grande, an ancient Benedictine monastery whose name derives from the oldest part of the structure called “Cella di San Michele”, a votive chapel built between the 11th and the 12th century AD, of which part of the original Romanesque structure and the stone bell tower are preserved. Today the Bagnod family, after an important renovation and modernization work, has recreated a pole of pleasure by harmonizing tradition with the most modern technologies. Starting from the cellar, where you can taste all the DOC and DOCG wines of Canavese, from the nuances of Erbaluce to the rare Carema, the son of heroic viticulture on terraces and dry stone walls. Cella Grande is always ready to host, every day of the week, offering a RESTAURANT open for lunch and dinner, a BIOSPA (with heated swimming pool, sauna, turkish bath and relaxation area) and 9 SUITES with lake view. The structure has large spaces both inside, with dedicated conference rooms, and outside with a splendid park with ancient trees, gardens and terraces overlooking the lake and therefore suitable for the realization of a multitude of events.
