An architecturally eclectic town, which hosts the imposing Ducal Castle, one of the most important Savoy residences, commissioned in the seventeenth century by Count Filippo San Martino di Agliè. Visit of the village, the Church of Santa Marta (jewel of Piedmontese Baroque created by the architect Costanzo Michela) and the Church of San Gaudenzio (where the Poet Guido Gozzano rests). Theatrical visit in english inside the Ducal Castle of Agliè, with a re-enactment of the past and “Living History”. The Ducal Palace of Agliè, already an important Set of the fiction “Elisa di Rivombrosa”, boasts an ancient and noble past, testified by the variety of the settings that still characterize apartments and gardens. Surrounded by a park with centuries-old trees and large greenhouses, it has over 300 rooms with a precious and heterogeneous heritage of furnishings and collections, ranging from paintings to archaeological finds, up to surprising ornithological and oriental collections.
